Three years ago I was working 100 hours a week, hating my job and sliding deeper and deeper into $30,000 of credit card debt despite being amazingly frugal. This brought an ever present exasperation and deep depression.  I was building Ritz Carlton's and the nicest homes in Malibu (if not the world) yet I was a financial disaster, bitter and unhappy man. I didn't know it at the time, but it was because I hated what I was doing.

The Statement Piece

 

When blogger-stylist Erin Hiemstra of Apartment 34 decorated a den/office for this Sunset Magazine house tour, she stole the spotlight with a California state marquee light that she found at a local flea market. Made of reclaimed old-growth redwood and automobile-grade aluminum, the marquee features 13 lightbulbs representing the state's major cities.

Touch it Before You Buy It

Seeing is believing. 

I work with the best photographers in the world to capture how my lights actually look, but there is still no substitute for being front of one.  To experience their huge scale or the soft glows that only reclaimed wood can cast, you have a few options:

1) Most people that rent the lights just for an event end up buying them.  Find out why by renting one for yourself right off the website.  Try before you buy and I'll credit the rental fee towards the purchase.  Because you're awesome.
